Statement of Purpose: Making a difference in the life of a destitute and less fortunate child by providing education and care.

Needs/Beneficiaries: Rehema was founded in the Korogocho slum of Nairobi in 1990 and works to support the community in their efforts to alleviate poverty by promoting quality life, education, and health.

Income-Generating Activities:

• Tailoring and dressmaking
• Carpentry training
• Poultry

Impacts: Rehema provides an education to over 625 impoverished children and also organizes training in income-generating activities to support the eradication of poverty in the community. Still, the school is sometimes forced to share classroom space with the very activities that are sustaining it.
