The 10/10 Project ENewsletter

10/10 builds relationships and partnerships with creative and innovative people throughout the world, learning and working together to break the cycle of poverty for life.

In its 5-year history, The 10/10 Project has become a leading voice on the field of development and advocacy, specifically addressing the issue of poverty from a relational and justice perspective.  As 10/10 continues to move forward in its work, our Executive Director, Andrew Syed has decided to fulfill a dream by taking an opportunity to live and work overseas in London.  Andrew will be working with Amnesty International in a role specifically suited for his gifts: advocacy and activism.

For 10/10, this is a positive opportunity as Andrew will be transitioning to the Board of Directors as its Vice-Chairman.  Andrew will be working with the board in a continued leadership role shaping the values, growth, and effectiveness of The 10/10 Project.  For all involved this is an exciting transition. Since 2003, 10/10 has become an effective and relevant institution needed on the fields of development and advocacy.

Adam Delp, who has been working with 10/10 for 2 1⁄2 years as our Director of Partnership Development has been asked by the Board to serve as Executive Director.  He brings not only a deep passion for the work of 10/10, but gifts and abilities that qualify him for this position at this time in 10/10's history.  Adam and Andrew have worked side by side in Kenya with our partners, as well as across the USA in advocacy and education work.  We are excited as this opportunity provides increased avenues of effectiveness and expansion for the vision, mission and values of The 10/10 Project.

For our supporters and partners, both Adam and Andrew want to express gratitude and appreciation for your past and continued support.  Be assured, the vision and mission of 10/10 moves forward as we collectively seek to Challenge Minds and End Poverty.

"Aside from the impact of and relationships with our partners in Kenya, I am most proud of how the staff of 10/10 has emerged into leaders.  I am privileged and excited to continue working with Adam in his new role.  I am also very thankful for the opportunity to continue partnering with you as donors and supporters of 10/10.  In my new role on the board, I look forward to contributing in new ways to the amazing idea that is 10/10. Thank you for your continued financial support and for being a part of that vision!"

- Andrew Syed, Vice-Chairman of the Board
