For today’s Entrepreneur Profile, we present to you Phaustine Wekesa, the director of Tumaini Pamoja Women’s Support Group:
Vision: To mitigate HIV related stigma among women living with HIV/AIDS
Objective: To have all members economically empowered
Activities:
Micro-finance operations
Community education programs for HIV/AIDS awareness
Business idea:
Making necklaces


This is the power…of empowerment. We provided business education through The GEA to the school headmaster, and with a few small grants they have created a college that can educate 100 people a year and change their lives forever!
